Frequently asked questions
Options 4 Recovery offers services including intervention, relapse prevention and recovery coaching for adolescents, adults and the elderly. Our specialized services may be as simple as a one-time telephone consult to more complex, long term services such as intervention or recovery coaching. We know from experience that each person’s circumstances are different, and because of this we use a collaborative approach in designing our services to meet the needs of each family we serve.
We have expanded the terms “intervention” and “recovery” beyond their common association with addiction and alcoholism issues to include all compulsive and destructive patterns of behavior. It is often difficult to locate interventionists that are truly experienced with compulsive behaviors related to eating disorders, borderline personality, obsessive-compulsive disorder and other psychiatric conditions. We believe interventional methods are very appropriate for all destructive patterns of behavior, not just alcohol and drug abuse.
Although our services are therapeutic in nature, they are not therapy and do not replace the process of individual therapy, group therapy, medication management or 12 support groups. Our services are designed to work in conjunction with and enhance an individual’s existing treatment process and support network and are not to be used as a replacement for other licensed clinical providers.
We believe that an intervention is not a one-time event, but rather a lifelong commitment to change. Although an intervention can be done in a short period of time, people often find they need additional support to continue the process of change as they progress in their own recovery. Options 4 Recovery is available to provide additional recovery coaching services designed to address the specific needs of the client.
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for crisis intervention assistance. At Options 4 Recovery, we believe in being completely accessible to our clients.
Options 4 Recovery offers consultation, recovery coaching, relapse prevention and intervention training remotely via conference call and internet.
Recommendations for treatment centers are based on the specific needs of each client. Because of this, providing a shortened list of options may lead to an inappropriate match of services to needs. Options 4 Recovery is committed to researching and locating the best possible facility based on information regarding symptoms, diagnosis and available financial resources.
